you could always see him in the pick-up/installation area working as hard as the youg bucks, except he was clean.
One time when they were still in one of the old studebaker buildings i stopped to pick up tires and he drove me and my daughter thru the warehouse on the little undustrial golf-car sized truck to pick up our tires. we drove and drove and drove then stopped, he walked over to a pile of tires, picked out the 2 i ordered put them on the truck and headed back up front. I think he even took the little truck out to my car to load them in the trunk. I was always inpressed by that. He did NOT have to work.
