First, let me say that I do still buy stuff on Ebay. And it looks like the only way to play ball with them is to do it their way, though I liked it better when I sent the seller a check or a money order. I know there were risks, but every one I traded with went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Anyhow, It appears that in most cases Ebay wants to control all the money that changes hands. I am told by one ebay seller that they even give the sellers debit/credit? cards to get their money back with. The only exceptions that I ahve seen have been either big ticket items, like a car or tractor, where the seller could pay when he picked the item up. And certain ebay stores that apparently have prior approval with Ebay to accept credit cards if you call them directly.
The other thing I always wonder about is how much money Paypal is actually sitting on at any given minute? O.K. At any given second. I bet it is in the millions, if not a billion dollars or more. Now if you could invest the percentage of that amount that is always present, or that you are certain will always be present, in Paypal at any given moment in some other investment, like the stock market, bonds, etc. , I wonder how much profit could be had from basically using other people's money. . . . ?

After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
