You might stumble on a dealer that wants to be rid of some older stock, usually odd sizes, or one-offs. Seldom will you find a pair of rear tractor tires or a set of anything that way.
Many of the big US tire mfr.'s sold rubber plantations and forests they owned or owned an interest in off to make their bottom line look better when China flooded the US markets with cheap tires. They are now buying more of their raw materials at inflated retail prices instead of posessing them at wholesale.
There may still be a tariff on Chinese tires that artificially inflates the prices of all tires.
