I have found that the cordless grease guns have ruined as many bearing as they have saved. The reason is guys blow the seals out with too much grease. Plus there is no feed back for how much force your putting on the bearing/fitting.
So I only use them on things that need to have loads of grease and do not have any seals to cause issues.
As for the Dewalt guns. I hope they work out well for you. I have had the best luck with the better Lincoln guns. The other brands do not seem to last very long.
