I thought I had a bad genie. Instead of messing with it I just got another one. Come to find out I had one bad door sensor, even thought one sensor had a red light the other a green light indicating they were working.
I plan to use my used genie to replace a chain drive CHI opener that gives me fits with the 2 micro switches that tell the door which direction to go. I will never buy another chain drive opener.
