It is hard,but can be done.Start by helping locals during peaks and harvest.Learn as much as you can.Buy some older equipment.Let someone else own/buy the newer stuff.I'm STILL farming(full time) with a 1256,706,SuperM,95JD combine.......But it's PAID FOR!Do some costom work as you can.Work a 'day job' if you have to to survive.Do what you have to.Lease a bit of ground.Accept the less than perfect 'sh!+ ground' at the beginning,That may be all that is available.Keep working,Keep out of debt.Above all all DON'T GIVE UP!!I didnt,still struggleing(I'm 57).That's how I did it,and continueing on.....
