We had some 3'-4' drifts, that last round of snow last week, sure piled up thick in places, too deep for the 850 with counterweight, loaded tires and double ring chains. Have a friend needing some wood, he came by yesterday, drove his truck onto the road, eventually got stuck, took some clearing to get him out. I could not get to the woodlot I wanted to cut from, bunch of older dead elm, over the slight shoulder of the road it still 2 feet deep, luckily I found some straggler dead elm in reach. Was glad to help though, his wife turned on him in a vicious way with a divorce, with 2 young kids, money tight due the proceedings, puts him in a real bind, so I was really glad we still got him a few weeks of wood anyway, but it sure is a pain to work in deep snow LOL !
