As others have stated there are some transmission issues. The E4OD has been updated a lot and with the newer parts they are pretty well bulletproof if not abused. Make sure the trans cooler is in good shape and it works. My friend had one with 350,000km on it before the trans gave issues and he hauled a big fifth wheel with it.
