6-7 miles from Saegertown school but being out in Cussewago they sent us 10 miles (my door to the school door) to Cambridge. That's once I started driving. Probably 30-35 by bus. Took an hour to get to or from school.
We seeded and mulched the bank on the ball field at Saegertown when I was in high school. Also did the dirt work for the new ball field at Cambridge and set the concrete blocks for the bridge. I could wait on my dad and uncle to get done there for the day and beat the bus home riding with them.
Guess now Cussewago is an Amish school. Haven't been back yet in 3 1/2 years.
