Saturday it was 25 outside here in southern Michigan. With all the cold I havn't been able to get my stored cars out, so I decided to at least go start them in place. After 30 minutes of digging I got to the locked door of my shipping container and opened her up. Their they sat, Pretty as can be. No signes of water or rodents. Yea. I climbed in the first one, a 1967 hatch back mustang with 200 six engine. Hit the key and she fired right up. The tail end was towards the door so I wasn't worried to much about the fumes. And just for a minute, I felt like it was 80 degrees out and I was going 65 down the highway. What a great feeling. After ten minutes I shuter her down and steped out side for another 30 minutes to let things clear out. Then I went back in and climbed in my 1966 fastback mustang. She has a 289 and took just a bit more but fired right up. Since it has a better battery and it was deep inside I only let her run about two minutes but again the feeling was like I was doing 80 MPH. Next week ends dad's 350 IH and Grandpa's supper 55 Oliver. I know I'll feel dad and grandpa on the seat with me. Can't wait till spring........
