Its only worth what two people agree to. As for listing it at $1500-$2000 more than its "value." If you think its worth $5500 list for that and go from there. Just because you think it is worth X that does not mean you will get that. And if that price is based off what you see on Craigslist, etc then that probably isn't the price its worth that's why you still see it out for sale. Also moaning about eBay fees: its a service you chose to use. They provide alot of stuff for that fee(visibility across the country, security, etc). Don't sell it there if you don't want to pay the fee. Websites aren"t built and maintained for free even though most think they are.
