Yep, had just gone to bed and heard a rumbling sound. Got up and could not figure out where it was coming from. It soon stopped, so I went back to bed thinking it must have been a large truck off in the distance. Seemed to last quite a while. Where my house is built is pretty much a huge rock with a thin layer of soil on top. I have always figured that is why lightning strikes here so much and why we feel small quakes when others around don't. Richard in NW SC
