It's getting real hard for me too. Taking a life 'just because' doesn't happen anymore. When I had hogs knocking the runt in the head was part of the routine. I cringed every time I did it but that's what had to be.
We have way too many cats 24 total, and they're all female. I've shot all of the tom cats, not easy but I had to reduce the population somehow. I can't shoot a momma cat. Ever since our daughter passed away, leaving three little girls behind I just can't kill a momma anything. Jim
