As I approached their place shortly after dawn,I could see my aunt and uncle closly examining a new travel trailer. Neither acted very happy when meeting me in the yard so I figured they was suffering buyer's remorse. Turns out they had picked the new trailer up and parked it near the house just the day before. House dogs woke them up during the night barking as if somthing was outside. He could barly see the armadillo rooting in the outer reach of the porch light. After watching long enough to be certain it was an armadillo,uncle shot it. Want to guess what was sitting in the dark a few yards beound the dillo? #4 shot can do quite a bit of damage after ricocheting.
