We use natural gas for our stove, water heater and a fire place. The price climbs every winter about this time and generally drops a bit in the spring/summer. We have found that the NG price generally follows the trend in other energy sources. If they go up, NG goes up and conversely when the price of other energy sources goes down. The relative price in comparison to other energy sources seems to stay about the same. As a previous poster said, the current war on coal may affect NG prices some in the future.
