It has warmed up enough to start melting snow. It is going to get muddy and more humid. As sweaty as everything was today I know that I added some water to the tractor rearends.
How long do you think one should wait after using a tractor to drain water off the rearend? Will overnight be enough for it to separate all of the way? Three days? I have drained them off each fall but always have had the tractor sit a week or something. My loader tractor gets used each day, so I need to know if overnight is good enough. I sure want to get all of it.
Oh, it is just the rearend not the combination gears and hydro. It is an old tractor with splash rearend and no filter.
