If you have cable internet (fast) at home, just call your cell provider (mine is verizon) and complain often and they will eventually give you one of those devices that connects to the internet and your cell phone will connect wireless through that for home stuff. My wife stayed on the phone with them until they relented and sent the device and it works great. The antenna part is a small cord that you put near a window. The device itself is like a router you can place on a desk or windowsill etc. When your phone goes through this to the internet, it doesn't cost you any minutes on your phone plan either.
