About eight years ago we came home from vacation in Colorado to discover some scum broke in and robbed us, kids coin collections, bunch of 2 dollar bills, sack of old silver coins, about a 100 old silver dollars and a few of those mint sets. It had to be one of my kids friends I think because they each had a mint set from the year they were born with their name on it and the high lights of that year and those two sets were with the rest and not stolen. I even saved those 1976 bicentennial quarters for about 30 years. About the best the county cop could do is recite the percentage statistic of how many cases like this get solved, not many.
