Nephew bought my brother's Versatile 800 with turbo Cummins after he discovered that it would cost more to replace the clutch on hid JD 4WD than the tractor was worth. He really like the Versatile and can't believe how much he's saving on fuel alone.
Versatile has more power than his JD did and can work more acres in a day on less fuel. Fortunatley, he lucked out and found a buyer for his old JD (some fella that could only see the green paint).

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for �200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
