sounds like your fuel pump might be going bad it sounds like it is draining the fuel back and when you cycle it again it fires try cycling the key a couple times before trying to start it also the noise is the abs pump mine done it till it went bad also Cummings don't have glow plugs it has a intake heater hope this helps
