I think you are a man of honor, by reading your other posts in the past. If they are looking for a loan, and you didn't try to stop them from looking for a loan at this time, then I would honor the agreement. If you are desperate for money, you might have to look at things different, but as said below, your conscience will remind you from time to time what you did. And if it doesn't, might look into what you consider your morals to be. Only you can decide, but looks like there are a lot of folks here who's word is worth something.
