I think early models had cast iron and then later in life the came with alum ones. I'm not near my parts book but I thought there were some serial number breaks in there for this ? I remember something about narrower rings too ? But this may of been even on the cast iron ones in the 60 verses the ones for an A but the pistons all subbed over for replacements.
