I was born in 1937 and dad had a "Rib Stone " concrete stave silo built several yrs before I was born. It had a wooden,"hip roof" on it. It was not the first one in the area. Some where I have a pic of a " poured concrete" silo being filled with a steam engine running the silo filler and horses pulling the bundle wagons. I think it was taken about 1915 or 1920.clint
