Jim Since the ice and or snow is a once in 5 to 10 year event I would say you will be OK. Average temperatures in N.O. for the first week in March is 50 low 70 high. Heck we will be putting tomato transplants in the garden the first half of March. Mardi Gras is March 4th this year. If you are into trying new foods crawfish season is just starting and will run threw spring. You should try a few. We do not have to really teach a person to fish. We just eat the bait. LOL!!!!
