Sorry for you loss, my condolences to your family. It saddens me each time I hear of a WWII vets passing, as that generation really stands out to me as being the greatest in our U.S. History. I had a fun opportunity to drive my wife's grandfather, who is an 89 yr old WWII vet to family Christmas this last year. Just he and I in the car for a two hour ride. He talked non stop the whole way. Oh the stories he shared about life, the war, being wounded in action, life after the war......it was the most enjoyable social studies lesson. I've ever had. May you and you and your family find comfort and peace in God and each other during this difficult time.
