We had a truck at work that the tranny cooler leaked (Allison automatic) and had a Cat engine. Cat uses Cascade dishwasher soap, doesn't foam up and did a good job. But it was summer time so didn't had to worry about the cold and freezing. But I did put a garden hose hookup to the block and once I had the engine good and hot I would run a hose from the hot water heater and push hot water in the block and out the top of radiator to flush everything out. One note dissolve the soap in a bucket then pour into the engine, pouring the granules into the radiator will plug it up and will take a while to dissolve. chris
