You're right about leaving it on. Spent 5 hours in a John deere 317 skid steer and 100" snow bucket on my driveway last Monday. The drive has a 2 foot tall berm on one side and a 6 foot berm on the other, and it's only about 10 feet wide. When I bring that turck home next week, I'm gonna hit the driveway on my way in.
I'd never driven a big plow truck like this and was actually surprised at how well it handled. I thought the plow would throw the front end around real bad, but it was real steady ay 30 mph.
I have a Degelman blade I've used on my 4430 open station and it's OK if you put it in float. a little more wight on the front would help, though. Maybe studding the ribs, too.
