Same reason you Yanks would panic over a 'little' Hurricane.Anyway its on the news all the time about less then a foot of snow bringing everything to a halt in the midwest.Heck the Gov't with helicopters had to feed the cattle for farmers a few years when it snowed out in places in the West.I go thru 2ft of snow to feed cattle easily and we rarely get that much snow.
