Our refridgerator went up just before Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. It was raining to beat the band, but the Boss and I went shopping. We hit Sears, HH Greggs, Best Buy, Lowes, and a couple of other places. The prices were all comparable, all had a delivery charge, and none could deliver one short of about a week. We finally went to a smaller appliance dealer in our village. His price was about the same as the 'big box' stores, delivery was included, and even though we didn't get there until 8:30 in the evening, they were going to deliver it the next day. I went to coffee club (my usual morning stop) at 9am. I got home about 10:30, and the delivery guys were just walking out of the house. Who says the 'big guys' are so much better????

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
