My local consignment sale has several a year for about $1500 and the last two combines my buddy bought cost about $2500 with running engines.Took out engines and a few other parts the sent combines to scrap.Buddy just bought a great running 6620 for $4000 to part out as it is rusted out.Those salvage yards are living very good of their markup,but they do have high overhead as well.I bought a 466 out of a late 7700 for a realitive $1500 last summer.
