MarkB -- So are you saying that they send out that type of thing to get you to open it up and then some kind of virus infects the computer and does what? compromise your account numbers if you order something on line or open your banks site? I usually delete without opening but I have opened some e-mails and wondered at the point because they were so ametuerish and written in broken english, so obviously fake that I could not see how anyone would fall for a conventional ""send me your money"" type scam but if the real point is to gain access to your machine then that is a different story. Why is it just Windows? what are the options? Apple machines?
