Found out this morning that Texas legend, singer, song writer, cowboy poet, Steven Fromholz was killed in a hunting accident Sunday.
Fromholz wrote some fantastic music. His best work "Texas Trilogy", is an all time favorite of mine. Story of central Texas dust bowl, depression era ranch life. Marring young, growing up fast, drought, poverty, broke down trucks, screw worms, snake bite and cows living on prickley pears instead of growing grass... But wouldn't have it any other way!
