Years ago when we ordered fuel oil for the furnace in May of that year it was slightly more than what it was in January. We were told by our supplier it was higher because they arent selling as much. I remember years ago when the higher price of gasoline was just starting, and was higher in the midwest and the oil companies said it was because we were "land locked".......for the most part, Im guessing we always were lol...but it didnt make a difference before.
