Some were two wheel drive with the ''M'' engine and frame and some were planetary drive 4WD, all of the 4WD I ever saw were converted to pulpwood pre-haulers by a company in Pine Bluff Arkansas in the 60's but were originally manufactured in Batavia New York. They were tough machines and had a high lift capacity for their era.
