The Dr. had reason to be concerned. Any metal that a magnet will pull on will be sucked to the MRI machine. If you have steel in an eye, it is coming out the hard way.

Usually you have to sign a form stating that you have no metal in you before you get inside an MRI for a test. It will pull it right through your skin!
