Colds come from viruses or maybe you have a sinus infection from inhaling dust/dirt or mold if you feed hay? As far as colds and flu go, frequent hand washing is the absolute best tried and true deterrent. Alcohol hand sanitizers are a good alternative except for C-Diff (chronic case of the scours that are antibiotic resistant).
