My dad and grandfather used the AC Roto balers for years and I still have one I use sometimes.It'll put up better quality hay than the average square baler because it doesn't beat the leaves off.Also in its era it was a much more reliable baler than the square back then as those older square balers always had tying problems.They took some getting used to but with a WD Allis tractor one of those would bale more hay per hour than a JD 14T even with the stopping to make a bale as it would take a lot of hay.Handling the bales were no problem if the wagon had standards front and rear and the person handling the bales had hayhooks to handle the bales.in the barn the hay could be rolled across the barn floor from the wagon to the person stacking.To this day I'd much rather handle Roto bales than the square ones.
