Hey all,
I'm going to buy an old rattle trap Hagie and go spraying foliar feeds on corn and soybeans. The sprayer can only travel 10 mph, so I'm looking to do what I did when I was working for an agronomy business - haul it on a trailer behind a truck with a water tank.
The Hagie is an 8250, I'm guessing 12,000 lbs, but really don't know. 2000 lbs for the trailer makes a 14,000 pull. Water tank'll be 1000 gallons, so figure 8000 lbs...
Do you think an International S1900 with hydraulic brakes will legally pull AND stop a rig like this?
I used to pull a Case 3200 weighing 30,000ish pounds on a trailer weighing 5000ish pounds behind and International 9400 with 3000 gallon water tank. It wouldn't win any races, but it got me where I was going.....eventually.

My curiosity was up and I wanted to contact the owner. I wanted to see what he planned to do with the combine.
