H's are a little more difficult to set crankshaft end play as you can't directly get to the L.H. end of the crank, which must be pushed to the right to slide the flywheel in. I remove the engine cover and use a piece of wood as a pry bar to shove the crankshaft to the right, then while hold in it push the flywheel all the way on to the crankshaft. That should put the end play about .010-.015" when it is tightened. The H clutch shaft/lever combination is splined and can easily be assembled incorrectly if not marked when it's disassembled. Maybe that ios what your problem is? If so you will just have to try different combinations of lever/shaft/fork until it works right.
