Yeah the "new" way is to get the consumer to buy a poorly rebuilt product at a very high price so some poor soul in Mexico or China has a job while the consumer goea broke. Part of that is our own fault in that we taught our kids they could play computer games while ole Dad fixed the car they abused. Neither your parents nor mine taught us that way--we broke it we got to at least help get it fixed. And if Dad didn't know we got to get a job to at least help pay for the repair.
