Are the ones that filed really better off? Maybe on paper or actually dollar wise some are, but are they really better off. In some cases yes, but some I know are not. I went through the same scenario you are talking about. Although I decided I had had enough and sold out and got out. Had a spare time job before, so I pursued it. Thinking back one day I thought about what if. Yes, maybe I would be a little better off financially or may not considering the change of events over the year's. Anyway I am not a rich man, but most everything has worked out fine for us.
