Growing up the neighbor used LP tank heaters. I thought they were the coolest thing.
Didn't know they made them but I like the idea. I have stock tanks with the hog waterer cutouts. A tank heater in the tank keeps the hog waterer free unless it is well below zero and windy. A wood fired one wouldn't give the hogs a cord to chew. I spend a lot of time hot proofing tank heaters.
