I agree with the cotter pin idea. Yours having no cotter pin has probably plugged up and allowed some oil to accumulate. This has probably unplugged itself with all the cold weather you guys are suffering and thus it is now leaking. As long as it does stop dripping or gets no worse it is fine to run the tractor, just keep an eye on oil levels (engine and trans). If it gets to be an excessive drip then split the tractor and sort the oil seals. Sam
