Many years ago when I was stationed in Groton CT there was one time the base was shut down due to snow. At the time I owned a Dodge van and had 3 foot antennas on the roof. I always parked it between 2 hills where the houses where and that morning we could not see the van or the antennas. Had to use the handle of a broom to find it so we could dig it out
