I drilled ad tapped a hole in the front bottom of the belly reservoir for a 3/4" pipe used it for my pump inlet and used the drain hole for the return. Ran it all last year with no problems.
It has a M&W pump and I added the valve for two outlets. I wasn't using the pulley anyway. Look under the belly and you can just see the hose going into the belly pump res.
PS The dates on the pics are wrong, they were taken last summer.
