Yup 4010 that was it. You saw the 7800 at the north end then? I tried all the way home to find something wrong with it. The closest I could come is that it doesn't throttle all the way down unless you pull up on the foot throttle with your toe.
I should have bought that old 8n with the Sherman aux trans in it. It was in running condition and some sap got it for $400. Decent tires even.
She got it for 50K. It has 6900 hours on it. She's going to get rid of one of her 4440's and use this to pull the drill.
It was a cold one, I'll tell you that. I told her she would be on her own if she bought anything that didn't have a cab.
