Most of my wood is cherry and oak. Sorry I did not include it in my original post. Sounds like a good place to dry the lumber would be above by office in the barn (hot in summer) with a fan blowing on it. We may have different terminology (or my lack of experience) but I put 1 inch spacers between each row of boards. Thanks, Bill.
