One year when I lived in Albany we got 175 inches, was about 1971, and I think it was a record for annual snowfall. In the late '60's living in Glens Falls we got 48 inches in 3 days, even those seasoned snow fighters had to dump snow in the Hudson to get rid of it. Booneville was the worst, usually 200 inches a year...lake effect.
What have the snows been like the last 10 years? Much less than 30 years ago?
