A cultimulcher is a great tool if you spring plow or seeding a hay field or pasture. I just don't favor them for other row cropping. I got rid of a 25 ft machine a couple years ago since we finally quit trying to work clay ground that was a tad too wet in the spring and then trying to salvage the mess (break up the clods)with the cultimulcher. Much prefer a rolling harrow which does a good job and also has the benefit that you can't use it if the ground is too wet (packs with dirt and becomes a solid roller).
