Don't know about liberty brand specifically but I have always known Big B's to shrink.In Ontario most guys wear overalls over a pair of light trousers to keep grease and dirt out of the house so bigger legs are the norm.My granddad wore two pair of pinstripe overalls so he could shed one in the basement on the way in but still look fashioable.Our overalls are different too.Old farmers here wore zipper front high back overalls instead of the more common type that are more like a pair of jeans with a bib front.Ours keep the spine and kidneys warmer.Back in the day dairymen tended to wear pinstripe overalls while beef and hog men wore blue ones.
